In store HEMA

We developed new concepts for the HEMA restaurants and HEMA signing in store. The objective was to create an attractive atmosphere for a wider audience, especially women with kids.

RETAIL COMMUNICATION
The objective was to create an attractive atmosphere for a wider audience, especially women with kids, in the newly opened restaurant. We developed a unique, playful and contemporary illustration style for the HEMA restaurant which, together with the tasty food photography, highlights the freshness of the HEMA food range.

The green colour represents freshness and is implemented in several elements in the restaurant including the pricing signs. The written typography is specifically designed for the HEMA restaurant. The distinctive character of the typography fits the illustration style . HEMA uses Jip&Janneke for their children’s products and we have developed a shop for children to play in based on these popular characters.

SIGNING
HEMA has the strong belief that his stores should especially cater to the general public. Every article is very recognisable yet contemporary, fresh en user-friendly. We developed a new model for the signs in the HEMA stores that fit in with their ideology. This results in very simple and clear signs; the way we expect it to be in a HEMA store!
Besides in store design for HEMA, we developed several food packaging concepts.
